About SION
SION Is a professional team specialized in Programs for Children with Special Health Care Needs
The program takes place at our clinic (West Gran Buenos Aires area), as well as in off-site places, like home, school, or the environment where the child lives.
SION also has support teams located in different parts of West Buenos Aires area, working as an integral network. This allows us to bring the service to the natural environment of the family.
Why SION uses this method? Why is it better than other programs?
- The child’s achievements can only be kept only if what he/she learns is being put into practice in his natural environment.
- Direct contact with the child’s family provides elements that not only enhances the treatment, but also strengthen what was learnt at our clinic.
- Having the child’s family and teachers trained in the usage of our methods, equipment and adapted contents for alternative-augmentative communication (AAC) makes a big difference, because the skills are performed in the places where he/she spends most of his/her time.
- Working as a network allows us to cover a wide geographic area
